• A year after first going on sale, the DS 4 range is developing with the appearance of an OPÉRA specification, an updated PERFORMANCE LINE version with even more personality and new equipment throughout the whole line-up.
• Benefiting from technical innovations, DS 4 E-TENSE 225’s zero emissions range is increased by 13%, now up to 62 kilometres in electric mode.

New OPÉRA specification

The whole DS 4 range is revamped with the arrival of a new OPÉRA specification, available on DS 4 and DS 4 CROSS.

Symbolic of DS Automobiles expertise, OPÉRA is enhanced with Criollo Brown Nappa Leather high density seats with watchstrap design upholstery. The front seats are heated, massaging and cooled.

This model sits at the top of the range with a considerable amount of standard equipment: DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION controlled damping, sunroof, power tailgate with hands-free access, laminated front and rear windows, wireless charging and aluminium pedals and footrest.

DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0 is optional with the implementation of new features such as semi-automatic lane changing, enabling lanes to be changed automatically and safely between 70 and 180 km/h with a simple push on the indicator and recommended speed adaptation. The steering wheel is also feature a grip sensor that continually checks if the driver is paying attention.

The PERFORMANCE LINE and PERFORMANCE LINE + versions assert their character: the DS Automobiles, DS 4 and E-TENSE badges on the grille and tailgate are now Black. The lower door cladding becomes Textured Black.

Zero-emissions range for DS 4 E-TENSE 225 increased to 62 km

Three drivetrains are available with E-TENSE 225 plug-in hybrid, PureTech 130 petrol and BlueHDi 130 Diesel.

DS 4 E-TENSE 225 now has a zero emissions range of 62 kilometres on the WLTP combined cycle (up by 13%). This increase is because of improved software control.

In the interests of simplifying and enhancing the range, a new BASTILLE specification replaces the BASTILLE and BASTILLE + offerings with the introduction of scale-effect Basalt Black trim, PolyAmbient lighting, Platinum Clous de Paris embossed inserts and a closed centre console. The rear vents include two new USB ports which are added to this level. On the outside, the grille is now Gloss Black with chromed diamond-tip design while at the rear, chrome trim with a Gloss Black diffuser are introduced.
