LEXUS ANNOUNCES THREE EUROPEAN PREMIERES FOR THE 2020 GENEVA MOTOR SHOW
– First European public appearance of the Lexus LF-30 Electrified concept, a vision of Lexus future electrification
– European debut of the UX 300e, Lexus’ first battery electric vehicle and first model to be launched under the ‘Lexus Electrified’ banner
– European reveal of the LC 500 Convertible, an open-top version of the flagship LC coupe
– An on-demand digital press conference will be available throughout the show’s press days (March 3 and 4), online and at the Lexus booth

Lexus is hosting three European premieres at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, including soon-to-be-launched new products and a concept study expressing its design and technology vision for a future electrified car.

The LF-30 Electrified concept is a showcase for the advanced design and technology Lexus envisions for the future electrification of its brand and the unique opportunity that will present to transform the joy of driving. The ‘Lexus Electrified’ strategy aims to provide choice, convenience and excitement to consumers who are ready to move beyond conventional powertrains.

The UX 300e is Lexus’ first battery electric vehicle (BEV) and the first model to be produced under the ‘Lexus Electrified’ banner. It features the distinctive design and high functionality of the original UX urban compact crossover, together with refined yet dynamic driving performance and all the Lexus hallmark qualities of comfort, exceptional quality and reliability.

The new Lexus LC 500 Convertible joins the LC Coupe as an aspirational halo model for the entire Lexus range. Designed on the theme of ‘Ultimate Beauty’ and with Lexus’s signature attention to detail, it commands the attention, top up or top down, and provides a driving experience that stimulates all the senses.

The Lexus booth will be located on stand 4211 in Hall 4 of the Palexpo exhibition centre. The digital Lexus press conference presentation will be available at any time during the show’s press days (March 3 and 4). Media representatives are welcome to call at the Lexus booth at a time that suits them and discover the Lexus brand and product messages on an individual screen.

Toyota presentará numerosas novedades en el Salón del Automóvil de Ginebra 2020, desplegando su ofensiva de producto en prácticamente todos los segmentos del mercado. Ginebra será escenario del estreno mundial del prototipo que adelanta el nuevo B-SUV de Toyota, que combina su amplia experiencia en vehículos urbanos con la gran herencia SUV de modelos tan icónicos como RAV4.

También harán su debuts en un salón del automóvil europeo los nuevo Yaris y RAV4 plug-in hybrid, además de la segunda generación del Mirai, que estará presente en un área dedicada al compromiso de Toyota con una futura sociedad del hidrógeno.

El área TOYOTA GAZOO Racing del stand de Toyota en el Salón del Automóvil de Ginebra acogerá la presentación del nuevo GR Yaris, que se mostrará junto con el nuevo GR Supra 2.0, el Yaris WRC de la temporada 2020 del Campeonato del Mundo de Rallys —World Rally Championship (WRC)— y el Hilux Dakar con el que Fernando Alonso compitió en el Rally Dakar 2020 a primeros de año.

19 February 2020 – Hyundai Motor will focus on the theme ‘real progress is in the air’ at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, which takes place from 5 to 15 March.
As well as hosting world premieres of the all-new i20 and new i30, Hyundai will showcase its latest concept car, which is the latest extension of the company’s design philosophy “Sensuous Sportiness”.

‘Real progress is in the air’ is a reference to Hyundai’s new brand vision, ‘Progress for Humanity,’ in which Hyundai aims to improve peoples’ lives by taking a human-centric approach to mobility. ‘Real progress’ represents not just where Hyundai is going, but also how far it has come.

Hyundai will reveal the next facet of its design philosophy, “Optimistic Futurism”, which aims to balance nature and technology, emotion and practicality. To highlight this philosophy, the company will unveil a new EV concept based on its electric global modular platform.

Both the all-new i20 and new i30 will have their public world premieres at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. The all-new i20 features a completely new design and is the first car in Europe to carry Hyundai’s latest design language ‘Sensuous Sportiness’. Meanwhile, the new i30 has also received a series of enhancements. The company is also launching an N Line version of its popular i30 Tourer, meaning its sporty trim level will be available on all i30 body types for the first time.
