Judging by those first pictures it’s clear that this is a project based on CMP platform by psa and not the new STLA small. There are some hints that reminds me of all other CMP applications like 208/mokka etc.

-the wheel hubs have 4 nuts

-the stla small was supposed to be only electric while this first prototype has an internal combustion engine.

-the front disposition of the intercooler is a classic design of PSA, this might also means that the engines will be french side like the new 1.2 puretech MHEV with 7 speed dgt gearbox.

– the design of the front camera for adas is identical to other model based on CMP platform, this means that the electric architecture of the car, including can bus protocol will be the AEE2010 instead of the new electric architecture (NEA2020) which has been already implemented on new peugeot 308/opel astra/citroen c5x.

-on the roof you can see a shark style antenna, common to the new cars above mentioned which comes with the new infotainment system called IVI (in vehicle infotainment). The shark antenna will be also fitted in the new ds7 mid life while that car in the past did not have any antenna on the roof at all. This is due to the new infotainment system which requires an ethernet based communication with the antenna, it is called in french BSRF(boitier de surveillance des radiofréquence) and manages everything from radio FM to 4g connectivity. This means that the infotainment 80% will be the same already seen on peugeot 308 with a new graphics and not the one already seen on fiat 500e /alfa romeo tonale.
