This time no std PCCB as already proven the 991 steel brake system is plenty strong and durable enough but a little more front brake cooling is added and a proper Movit based CCB system is optional. CF Carbon Revolution and Magnesium BBS wheels optional. Part of two track packages a la Weisach edition of the 918.Clubsport package now available in the US but must be dealer installed with the CS package interior options reduced to current RS option list.
CS in a box + dealer install is an expensive option but it comes with a Barber track day to explain all the track setup of the systems.Non-CS cars get sofas dont get the track packages option but all options available on the TTS are available. There will be a valet setting.

Como veis tendrá 700 caballitos, brutal va a ser este coche, y como leeréis también los próximos 992RS llevarán motor flat8 algo lógico teniendo en cuenta que un flat 6 se queda corto con la competencia en versiones atmosféricas con lo cual parece que los Carrera «normales» llevarán un 6 cilindros y las versiones GT3/RS y GT2RS optaran por motores de 8 cilindros, al parecer los próximos 992 turbo/s que verán la luz alrededor de 2020 llevarán el motor del 991 GT2 RS con un sistema híbrido.

Podría ser manual tambiénLos últimos rumores apuestan por seguir con el 4 litros, la potencia en torno a 530 cv, según indican el nuevo motor de 4 litros del 911.2 GT3 no tiene nada o casi nada que ver con el 4 litros del 911.1 GT3 RS, el motor del 991.2 GT3 es el mismo motor del RSR de motor central o del GT3 R, este motor es una evolución muy profunda respecto al anterior motor y se a trabajado mucho en la fiabilidad entre otras cuestiones, como por ejemplo ser capaz con 4 litros se subir hasta 9000 vueltas cosa que el 4 litros del GT3 RS o R no podía subir, se quedaba en 8600 aproximadamente, como digo este nuevo motor es de muy alto rendimiento y como ha dicho recientemente Andreas Preuninger este nuevo motor es capaz de llegar a 600 cv son esos 4 litros, casi nada, así que y resumiendo es muy probable que Porsche opte por seguir con la misma cilindrada y aumentar 20 ó 30 caballos al 991.2 GT3 RS.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2hBt7ehKag 4 junio, 2017 a las 09:20Bueno pues ya tenemos mucha información fresca sobre el GT2 RS, como ya dije se verá en el festival de Goodwood a finales de este mes, habrá 2 versiones como en el 918 una «normal» y otra con un paquete denominado Weissach, las cifras aunque no son oficiales parecen definitivas, tendrá alrededor de 700 c.v. con más de 750 Nm de par y unos 1500kg de peso (en la versión Weissach se supone que menos) y tendrá una punta de unos 340 km/h, por otro lado en ciertos foros hablan de que será el rey en Nurburgring esto último esta por ver porque superar los 6:52 del Huracan será complicado, lo que esta claro es que este GT2 RS es una bestia de cuidado, por cierto se rumorea que será limitado a 1000 unidades, tampoco esta confirmado esto último.
