McLaren P1 [P12] (2013-2015)

  Son de Car Magazine y yo si les creeria puesto que con el MP4-12C acertaron en mucho…

Me recuerda el SSC Tuatara en algunas cosas (como la superficie acristalada) de una forma muy positiva!

Sí, son chops, y siendo de Autobild pueden ser bastante fiables auque el diseñador de este nuevo McLaren es el mismo que el del MP4-12C, y este que vemos aquí no me parece muy digno de Stephenson.

  Que yo sepa no son de Autobild, Car Magazine los sacó hace varias semanas, ahora Auto Bild las saca de igual forma…

  Eso si, de hecho yo lo que comentaba, cuando Car presento sus chops del P11 llamese MP4-12C, era muy parecido, claro que se notaba que la base era de un R8, pero muchos detalles ahí estan claramente, por ello le doy un grado alto de confianza a esos chops, salvo que esta ocasión fallen…

Habría preferido un diseño más radical, a lo Caparo T1, así:

Al menos el techo de doble burbuja estilo Zagato se mantendrá.

Me recuerda al frontal de los de competencia de Le Mans.
El chop pinta genial.

Tiene toda la pinta de un hiper-deportivo, pero aun así no es más impresionante que un Enzo o un Aventador.

  Yo estoy seguro que este auto sera impresionante, tal y como el MP4-12C lo es en este momento, y que ganas tengo de poder ver algo ya real del mismo…

El juego de los faros con la forma del logo queda fatal

Pues a mi me gustan mas los faros de la interpretacion de Autobild, en las dos se ve brutal, como tiene que ser.

  McLaren P12 to be unveiled at 2012 Monaco Grand Prix – report

The McLaren P12, alleged successor to the legendary F1 super car, has one hell of a legacy to follow. Therefore, its not surprising that anticipation of the launch is pretty high, and if rumors prove to be correct, it won’t be too long to wait.

According to a report by GTspirit, the P12 will be revealed at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix that takes place during the final weekend in May. However, it must be noted that it is very possible McLaren could use the F1 race to show the new super car only to specially selected clients. The Monaco race will be crawling with the super wealthy people that will be able to afford the new model and it would therefore be a perfect opportunity for them to gauge first impressions.

Styling was completed by McLaren design chief Frank Stephenson and is reported to be very futuristic with sources saying it looks like something from the Will Smith film iRobot.

The P12 label is the internal name for the super car and is the only identifier at this point. It will be powered by a tuned version of the MP4-12C’s 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine generating around 800 hp (597 kW / 811 PS) and backed up by a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) that could generate an additional 120 hp (89 kW / 122 PS).

Whilst the MP4-12C already incorporates a copious amount of carbon fiber in its construction, the P12 is reported to utilize the light-weight material even more for a lighter kerb weight. Engineers are believed to be targeting a weight of around 1,140 kg (2513 lbs).

The McLaren F1 successor will be reportedly launched in 2014 with a starting price of around €750,000.
