          Supongo que ahora dependerá mucho de lo que diga Nissan, aunque con el acuerdo que no llegó a nada el plantemianeto era que fuese una berlina, dejando al EVO como una especie de SUV deportivo medio electrico, separado del Lancer

              Renault adquirirá Autovaz

              Hasta ahora, solo habia adquirido una parte de una sociedad conjunta (Rostec Auto), en la que tiene un gran porcentaje Renault, y por ende, controla Autovaz. Pero, aunque no se sabe todavia cuando, Renault va a hacer una OPA. No se conocen mas detalles

                  YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will build more models using a new type of steel that combines high tensile strength with a previously unachievable degree of formability, resulting in lighter vehicles that can help lower emissions while protecting occupants.

                  Nissan is the world’s first carmaker to use the high-formability steel, with a tensile strength of 980 megapascals, which was jointly developed by Nissan and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp. The steel’s combination of stamping formability and strength makes it possible to form parts with complex shapes that are thinner and lighter than those made of conventional high tensile strength steel, while maintaining the ability to absorb energy in a collision.

                  The INFINITI QX50 premium midsize SUV, which went on sale in the U.S. in March, is the world’s first vehicle with front and rear side members made from 980-megapascal ultrahigh tensile strength steel, along with other body frame parts. Nissan plans to expand the use of the material, which enhances fuel efficiency as well as driving performance by lowering vehicle weight, to other models.

                  Nissan launched a sustainability plan this month that calls for lowering CO2 emissions from its new vehicles by 40% by fiscal year 2022, compared with fiscal year 2000. The company is aggressively developing technologies to expand the use of ultrahigh tensile strength steel, aiming for it to make up 25% of the company’s vehicle parts by weight. The material makes up 27% of the new QX50.

                  The 980-megapascal steel developed with Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal can be cold-pressed, making it suitable for mass production. This will help contain increases in vehicle cost.

                      Hay espias del modelo. Lo que parecia un Captur coupe, parece otro Renault derivado del Duster, como el Kaptur

                        Supongo que quieren decir que los modelos estarán más diferenciados. Cómo sustituir el Sandero con logo Renault por un modelo distinto al Sandero? ¿O tal vez abrirán Dacia a otros mercados? El éxito de Dacia ha sido indudable.

                              YOKOHAMA, Japan (July 9, 2018) — Since the discovery in September 2017 of nonconformities in the final vehicle inspection process (kanken) at its plants in Japan, and in line with operational improvement orders received from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has been proactively carrying out comprehensive compliance checks of various parts of its operations. As part of a check of exhaust emissions and fuel economy measurement tests within the kanken, Nissan discovered the following misconduct carried out for vehicles produced at its domestic vehicle production plants and those of affiliates, excepting Nissan Motor Kyushu.

                              1) Performance of exhaust emissions and fuel economy tests that deviated from the prescribed testing environment.

                              2) Creation of inspection reports based on altered measurement values.

                              Today, Nissan reported the current facts and investigation results to the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

                              Nissan understands and regrets the concern and inconvenience caused to stakeholders as a result of its kanken issues last year. Proactive initiatives to prevent recurrence of such issues have led to the discovery of this misconduct, for which the company is regretful.

                              A full and comprehensive investigation of the facts outlined above, including the causes and background of the misconduct, is underway. Nissan has retained the leading Japanese law firm Nishimura and Asahi to carry out an investigation centered on the causes and will implement appropriate countermeasures based on the results.

                              Following re-verification of reliable log data, Nissan has confirmed that all vehicles produced, excepting GT-R, conform to Japanese safety standards and also that the Nissan vehicle-type approval average measurement values guarantee the catalog specifications for exhaust emissions. Similarly, Nissan has also re-verified log data to confirm that all models subject to sampling tests guarantee the Nissan catalog specifications for fuel economy, meaning there are no errors within the fuel economy figures disclosed by Nissan.

                              This issue came to light during the course of voluntary checks conducted by Nissan. As a companywide exercise, Nissan will continue to carry out comprehensive checks of frameworks, organizations and processes related to regulatory compliance. Strict adherence to compliance is a top priority for Nissan’s management, and if issues are discovered, appropriate measures will be taken. Nissan is committed to promoting and enforcing compliance and awareness thereof in all operational areas.

                                Rumorologia Alpine
                                Si no recuerdo mal, cuando Renault dió vida a la marca, indicaba que el A110 deberia ser el modelo halo (como el 911 en Porsche) de la marca. Y dependiendo de si tuviese exito, ampliar la gama con mas modelos. En su momento se comentaba que podria llegar otro coupe y luego una berlina (que podria disponer de la base del clase E por ser de tracción trasera y estar ya en la alianza)
                                Después parece que desaparecian los rumores sobre este modelo (la berlina) para pasarse al tipo de carroceria de exito, los SUVs. Se decia que podria estar basada en la base MFA del GLA, aunque viendo que Infiniti no va a desarrollar mas compactos con esa base por ser muy cara, y que para el Alpine parece que Renault deshechó el motor 2.0Turbo del A45 AMG, parece dificil

                                Hoy vuelve el rumor, o la idea que tiene auto-moto, de que seria una buena idea hacer un Alpine «Panamera» (aparte del SUV) Claro que dice que podria utilizar el AMG CLS53 para ello. O bien, usar el banco de organos de Nissan cuando saliese el proximo GT-R. No se veria antes del 2022 segun ellos

                                No se, viendo la idea de Alpine de tener vehiculos muy ligeros y prestacionales, usando ese tipo de bases (GLA y CLS) el primer punto no lo cumplirian. Serian vehiculos rapidos, si, pero no ligeros. Y aparte, el banco de organos de Mercedes es bastante mas caro que el de Renault o Nissan, con lo que la rentabilidad no creo que fuese la adecuada, pero quien sabe
                                Está claro que tendrá que hacer un sacrilegio para ampliar el numero de modelos, ventas y rentabilidad para que Alpone funcione, pero parece que tenemos que seguir esperando a ver cual es el planteamiento

                                        Paris, France, 1 October, 2018 – Groupe Renault Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn today announced two steps forward in the company’s continued electrification of its Renault range, as outlined in the strategic plan Drive the Future: a new, affordable urban electric vehicle in 2019, coming first to China, and new hybrid and plug-in hybrid options on three of its popular vehicles in 2020. He also shared Renault’s vision for next-generation, on-board experiences with an exciting peek at the Augmented Editorial Experience that will be shown on Oct 2 at the Paris Motor Show.

                                        New Products, new markets
                                        A pioneer and leader in 100% electric mobility, Groupe Renault unveiled showcar Renault K-ZE, a new global A-segment, SUV-inspired electric vehicle, capable of 250km NEDC – the best autonomy in its segment. It features a seductive, sporty design with assertive lines and a muscular, compact footprint. Beyond its attractive design, Renault K-ZE is also easy to charge thanks to a double charging system compatible with domestic plugs and public infrastructures. Renault K-ZE comes with a host of equipment maximizing the experience of driving an electric vehicle such as rear parking sensors, rear view camera and a central screen with connected navigation and services.

                                        China is the largest and fastest-growing market for electric vehicles and Renault K-ZE will therefore come first in China. It will be manufactured locally by e-GT New Energy Automotive Co, the Joint Venture with Dongfeng Motor Group and Nissan created to develop and produce competitive electric vehicles for the Chinese market.

                                          El futuro del Renault Scénic en el aire, ¿habrá una nueva generación?

                                          Es cierto que con la última revisión completa que sufrió el modelo el Renault Scénic adoptó una línea similar a la del Renault Espace, luciendo una imagen «crossoverizada» que busca alejarse del aspecto que tenemos asociado a un monovolumen tradicional. Pero, ¿es esto suficiente? En Renault no lo tienen tan claro. Bollore comentó lo siguiente: “Para la próxima generación, hay una pregunta: ¿Queremos tener solo SUVs o continuaremos teniendo monovolúmenes? Esta cuestión está sobre la mesa”.

                                            Dicen que actualmente vende unos 100 000 al año… me parecen suficientes para mantener un coche así.
